Çetin Cıvata, which is active under TECDE Group, won the first place in the award ceremony of Steel Exporters Association in the category of ‘fasteners’ on the year 2016. Çetin Cıvata, which continues its work with the aim of becoming one of the top five manufacturers in Europe in the bolt, screw and fasteners sectors, continues to contribute Turkey’s total export. The company, which has already been exporting to 35 countries, won first place in the ‘Fasteners’ export award ceremony which is organized by Steel Exporters Association, on the year 2016. Çetin Cıvata, which exports its productions’ 40% to European countries, focused on the export markets outside Europe. 40% of production is exported to Europe Çetin Cıvata Chairman of the Executive Board, Mustafa TECDELİOĞLU stated that they are feeling proud for winning the first place in the ‘Stars of the Steel Export’ award ceremony, in the fasteners category. TECDELİOĞLU, who stated that the current deficit is very important on continuous growth of Turkish economy, said “We, as a country, have to work harder to close the foreign trade deficit. The closure of this deficit will only be made with exporting. We have a structure which continually produces and also exports most of its production. We produce averagely 20 million bolts, screws and fasteners on a daily basis. We export 40% of our production to Europe. Our products are used in the automotive, white goods, furniture and construction sectors. We make the most exports in Europe to Germany. We are continuing our efforts to increase our share in the European market. The developing Turkic Republics in Asia are among our target markets.” It Employs 700 People Mustafa TECDELİOĞLU, who states that they have made factory investment in Malatya on 2010, said “We established bolt, stud, screw factory in OSB and brought into service on 2011. We have 25 thousand square meters indoor area and we have 300 employees. We are producing stud in there also. There are 700 people working in total on our industry side.Right now, we have a total of 4 factories, one in Malatya, 3 in Avcılar, İkitelli and Çatalca in İstanbul.
